My name is Dorota Dziekońska. Dogs have accompanied me since the day I was born. I was brought up with dogs and I have learnt their language. 9 years ago I took up showing them too. And this new hobby soon turned out to be a real passion. Now most of the weekends I spend showing dogs. I still remember though, how difficult it is when you are just a beginner... To show a dog well is a complicated art and to realize how it all works takes time. That is why I have helped owners to prepare their dogs for shows for some time now. I also show dogs for those who do not have time or will to try showing dogs by themselves. So far I have successfully shown many Beagles and English Setters but also a German Shorthaired Pointer, a Waimaraner, a Hovawart, an Irish Setter and a Newfoundland. I am fascinated by work with dogs, making contact with them and at the end presenting them in a ring. I try hard to make the dogs I handle like shows and treat them as a good fun, not a boring obligation. I also quite often help people to communicate with their dogs. I teach them not only how to present their dog to its best advantage but also how to train it as far as basic obedience is concerned.
